Jason M. Rodriguez spent more than 13 years in the journalism industry and was published in such publications as Crain’s Chicago Business, the Chicago Sun-Times, the State Journal-Register (Springfield, Ill.), the Rock Island (Ill.) Argus, The Sun News of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and more.

 

At a young age, Rodriguez distinguished himself as a leader. He was chosen among a nationwide pool of college editors to attend the elite Poynter Institute’s conference on Leadership and Ethics. He led several newspapers in his teen-aged years through college and was a part-time editor for The Sun News.

 

Rodriguez has provided award-winning coverage for the Rock Island Argus and The Sun News. He has been recognized for his feature writing, spot news and in-depth reporting, and he received an award for best integration of print and online reporting. He launched this social media business in April 2009. 

Dennis J. Bingham has been providing professional writing services for more than three decades for several publications, companies and individuals.

 

He is an experienced writer, editor, historian, researcher, speechwriter, scriptwriter, consultant, proofreader, and cartoonist. He has versatile writing and editing skills ranging from business reports and eulogies to promotional material and personal histories. His is a versatile cartoonist (caricatures, spot illustrations, greeting cards, personal tributes, etc.)

 

He is author of A Proud Tradition: A Pictorial History of the Chicago Police and author of the “Rules and Scoring” section of Total Baseball: The Official Encyclopedia of Major League Baseball where he provided detailed chronology and essay of every baseball playing and scoring rule since 1845.

 

From 1976 to 2004, Bingham was editor of Chicago Police Star, the Department’s official magazine where he wrote and edited countless Chicago Police news releases, reports, and articles dealing on large variety of police subjects. He also wrote hundreds of speeches for police executives and has written the script for the Annual Chicago Police Recognition Ceremony for more than 25 years. He is a Chicago Police historian, researching all aspects of department history including history of female officers, biographies, and the heroic stories behind the officers killed in the line of duty. He served as department liaison with authors, reporters, and publishers.

 

Bingham is a founding member of the Chicago Police Historical Association and a member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR).

 

His experience also includes editor and illustrator for the special edition magazine – Baseball in Chicago. He was the historical advisor and featured extra in major motion picture Eight Men Out. He designed and illustrated two dozen prizes (puzzles, cartoons, etc.) for Cracker Jack.

 

Bingham provided editorial and consulting work for book publication of Chicago Police: An Inside View, The Story of Superintendent Terry G. Hillard, and provided editorial, proofreading, and research responsibilities for 42 books and encyclopedias, primarily concerning baseball and Chicago history, including biographies of Al Capone and John Montgomery Ward, and Chicago personalities and infamous criminals.
